the Mirages recordings are being mixed right now at Henry Hirsch’s Waterfront Studios. it’s a beautiful studio situated in a 150 year old Lutheran church. very vibe-y.

after a long process of trying to get the right situation to mix the Mirages record, Henry Hirsch “the Analogue Genius” (Lenny Kravitz, Mick Jagger, Charlatans) will be doing it at Waterfront Studios, end of November. for reference, i’ve been listening to Screamadelica for a year straight.
i have a threshold birthday up ahead soon.

the MIRAGES record is essentially tracked and finished.
i’ve shelved a few songs i was working on, in favor of a new track, “These Hands Are Made of Fire”.i think i’ve settled on an album title.
we’re settling the song arrangements with long hours at the computer.
the mixing for the songs will take place in November. my rough mixes sound good.
Things are moving along. There are six songs in folders, edited, and ready to be mixed. The other six we have going are about 85% completed. But I’ve started up about five more “skeletons” as some will be B-sides and I think I’ve got the gist as to what the project will be. Howie B’s mix is mastered and I’m just waiting on the JBAG mix to see what the first single will be and who is going to do the whole record. Still lots of who’s, when’s ‘n’ how’s….
